it depend on his level ....
It can go from 400$ to 2000$ if he does mainly php but can jump a lot if he does more that PHP

Yes.. You want make much money freelancing (which it looks like Solomongaby's numbers were based) but the real way to make money with it is to make a piece of software. The biggest PHP software being sold is forum software such as IPB. They sell their software for almost 300 bucks a license. And is used by thousands of web sites (well many of them are null boards but the big ones aren't). So as you can see it depends on what you're doing. It also depends where you are because if you're in Asia people will outsource to you because they know their money goes farther in whatever country they're outsourcing to so the people in that country are better off, the buyer is better off, but sadly the economy of the buyer is worst off.

Develope a network of websites and earn money from ads and/or member fees. this will get you more money in the long run easyer ...

Don't get me wrong ... not with little work ... what i mean is that in a few years if you are succesfull you will have money coming in without to much work.
