mtishetsky: Good point. I think a lot of people don't realize just how quickly one can learn programming with a sufficiently logical mind. If you do a little bit of math, you realize that in a college semester there are roughly 16 weeks at 3 hours (scheduled) class time per week and 6 hours of HW per week (according to the people at the top, not your teacher) for 9x16 = 144 hours which is less than a month of 40 hour work weeks. Two semesters and you're still at under 2 months and you've got the equiv of a year's PHP education. This presumes, of course, that you have the gumption to do the studying and at the same level of rigor.
