Hi Guys,

I have been thinking of placing a URL submitter on my site. Are there any suggestions? Do they work? Will the search engines see this on my site and consider my entire site spam?

I am looking for a script where basically someone can enter their URL without a need to enter personal information.

All information appreciated.

A script which submits URL’s to the search engines.

It depends on the SE as to whether you'll get banned. I have a feeling that this is fairly low on their priority list, however, as the spam gods use many other techniques for getting indexed rapidly. These include: 1) posting to blogs, 2) social bookmarking, 3) signatures in forum posts (I notice that you don't have one), 4) Publishing articles on article directories, etc.

And, from what I hear, those methods are far more effective as they may help you to avoid being "sandboxed" by some nasty SE's.
