Hello All,

I have this questionnaire on my site http://www.hcctech.ca/sales.php

It was working somewhat before.

My intention is that when someone fills out the questionnaire, they will click on the "submit" button and the email client will open and the email address will be there, the subject line will have the word "Questionnaire" and the body of the email will be filled with the choices the person made. As I am progressing, I am realizing that this is not working out in my favor.

What I would like this to do is when someone fills out the questionnaire, they select submit, and a new page opens and tells them that their info has been sent without opening email clients and such. Meanwhile I have to recieve the info someway, I don't know how to do this.

What would the best way to approach this?

If it means anything, I am operating my own Apache, PHP, MySQL and my own email servers and I have full control over the server tower (Win2003)

Easy, u need a script which sends it via email i have one where i edit the config file enter the smtp to send mail, the user name and the password and it sends it like that so it is as if you sent it to yourself....

Hopethis helps ill try and find where i got the script from and send u a link... i ahve heavily edited it now to do what i want...

Hopefully if u understand the basic PHP syntax you should be able to edit it and alter it slightly to make i how u need it,

I just about managed it when i knew zip about php
It is designed so anyone can just edit the bits to make it work,
