Howdy,
I was wondering how I would go about creating a email notification script, that when ran, gets the current week's event (from the .ics file) and emails them to a specified email(s).
What I am using this for - I have been working on a website for a church and they want to be able to send out a weekly (cron job) "Newsletter" to all the registered users of the site. Now I'm able to send RSS entries just fine, but I'm stumped on just how I would go about getting just the current week's ics events and parsing them so I can email them. Ideas? Suggestions? How-to's? I searched around a bit and all I could find was stuff relating to Apple's Ical Program - nothing web based.
Any help would be great!
