Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some help. I am currently working on a system that i want to do the following:

I want a parent to be able to log in to the system. This parent has a student or students linked to them. When the parent logs in the system then displays details of the student.

Can someone suggest a piece of "software" or a script that I could use to allow me to do this. Obviously i will have to code what i want it do to.....but I just need to knwo what kind of system would allow me to link a parents login details with a student in a databse.

Maybe a CMS? Any suggestions?!

Check out hotscripts.com and other members may have better ideas. If you are a programmer, you could probably work something up yourself, but the pre-coded script is probably the better way to go.

I am having a go myself working with a CMS system from a PHP/MySQL project book. It should be easy enough - just wanted to knwo if there was a commercial script that would do something like that.

I have had a look on hotscripts but im not sure even what I am looking for. Its not really a CMS system as it doesnt need to be updated and its not a User Authentication system as it needs more substance than just password protecting pages.

Its hard finding things hehehe.
