Hi,
I have set the document root of my website same as my testing server.
I have also disabled my firewall settings.
Now when I am trying to get a live data view from dreamweaver 8, I am getting the following error:

Forbidden
You do not have permission to access:
file name

Can some one help me on this?

Try to set the permissions. While you are in "remote view", right click on the containing folder(directory), and scroll down to "set permissions". A dialog will open up, with a bunch of check-boxes. Click them so that they are all selected. There should now be a message that reads "777". Try again.

Yer, if it says there is a permisson error you just need to change the write and read permissons.
