Hey guys,
I've been trying to set up a script this morning (my php skills are beginner at best), and I'm having a bit of trouble. The script/tutorial can be found at:

My problem so far is:

 mysql_connect("mysql.example.com", "username", "password"); 


mysql.mydomain.com doesn't pull up a mysql server. How do I get this to connect correctly? I'm sure I'll have many more questions as I go/learn. Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

That's just an example. For most webhosts you use 'localhost' for the mysql address. That should get you connected.
