Hi!
I have a problem I'm trying to fix, hopefully I'll find help here.
I'm hosting my site at Iweb and is the second time I got my account suspended because it was consuming resources (shared hosting). Those guys, as far as I understood from their site, are experiencing some sort of personnel problem, they don't have enough workers, or something like this. So, after I got suspended the second time it tooked a while until I was able to contact them and get back online.

Anyway, what I want to do is to limit the scripts access to the CPU resources, if possible. I don't know how to do it, but I had the impression it could be done through the php.ini file or through the .htaccess file. So, if any of you know how can I do that, please write me here the code I should insert in the php.ini so it will restrict the scripts access somehow.
I'd rather have a script that doesn't work instead of getting suspended again.

If it helps, I'm limited to 2% of resources. Honestly don't know what exactly means that. I don't know the configuration of their shared servers.

Thank you for your help!

May I ask what kind of script you are running? Also, is that script using too much resources for PHP processing or any kind of SQL queries or maybe even both?

I have no ideea. Iweb told me only that is consuming resources, not even what kin of resources... I can only guess is probably the CPU because you never get enough .
The script was supposed to extract feeds from other sites, store them in a database and then display them in different categories. I used it to extract news from different Romanian news sites so my site was basically displaying all the fresh, daily news about Romania.
It was extracting from around 300 feeds, but don't know how often. In 3 weeks the database grown around 30MB.
The script was downloaded from gregarius.net (their forum seems to be dead)
