I need to get hold of a flat db cms, mainly because I need to migrate it fast from one server to another and really can't be bothered to do lots sql movement and configeration, is there any way I can customise some majour cms like phpnuke to make it write to a flat file instead of a sql db. Please help as the site is only a side project and none of the team have enough time to do pages opf programing on it. NOTE: must be in php as asp is not working at the moment.
Thankyou - The Green Monkeys Project team.

No you cant customise cms that uses mysql to use flat files.

Try to look for such CMS at hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Content_Management/index.html

Saying no you can't is a bit much, it can't be done but would it be worth the time and effort.

*Nuke uses a database abstraction layer so all you would really need to do in theory is re-write the db functions file to have the same function names but using flat files and then create your own SQL parser so that existing features like modules and such won't be lost in the shuffle. Like I said, is it worth the time? Probably not. In the end you will probably save yourself alot of time by just using mysql and creating a script to automatically transfer from server to server, I don't think that would be too hard.

How else do you customize it to do this other than rewriting the DBA Layer?

Dont ask me, i've had a look at hotscripts, before i posted infact, thought there might be a module out there to convert a sql db into a flat one then back again at the other end, I've just become rather pleased with phpnuke cos of the phpbb intergration if posible a similar script or module would really help.
