Hello everyone, I'm looking forward to talking with you all more out here and being a part of the community!
The BestofJoomla.com team is looking for someone to create a converter to convert Simple Machine Forums over to the Joomla Forum software "Fireboard."
The converter will need to convert all Simple Machines Forum stuff over to Fireboard including:
-All forum categories, sub forums
-All posts (all topics and replies will need to keep their same forum structure of course)
-All members will need to be intact and converted over
-Attachments
-The converter will need to successfully work in order for the project to be "done." Of course, you may charge extra is necessary but it should be fairly straightforward and the community at BestofJoomla.com is more than happy to bug report and offer their help.
-DEADLINE: as soon as possible.
You have two choices to create this script:
1) You can either create a brand new script from scratch
2) Or you can update/repair the script that has already been created below. It works but it makes the categories and topics out of place (read more below.)

A forum member at BestofJoomla has already created the "basics" of the converter script but it does not work all the way as the categories and posts seem broken and out of place. You can either decide to create a brand new converter script or use the one that the forum member at BestofJoomla.com has created.
