Do you still think its possible to create an online community and make money from it with all of the competitors out there? There are like 203842370298340293 communities out there. I am thinking about creating something soon, and wondering if it is worth it or not. When did you create your most recent one, and how is it working for you?

If this is in the wrong spot sorry, and can you please move it. Thanks.

Don't be scared with the figures! If you really want to open up one, then go for it. In order to be noticed and be successful in this field, you have to make it unique, healthy, creative, interactive and fun. In this way even if you have lots of competitors out there, I believe many people would want to join your community if the factors mentioned above are present.

I still believe it's possible, but it will require lots of time, money and inspiration.

Most likely you will fail creating just another social community, so you should take a deep breath and think HOW to make UNIQUE social community. But it won't be easy...

You are thinking about most popular stuff mate. Competing in such an atmopshere will take hell of time, enery and expertise at the same time. Besides, if, even, you are done well with what you have come up with according to your ideas, it is equally toughest to nail to be successful within at least half a decade. But, morally,to encourage you will manifest my inner cleanliness so i would say if you are a cmpetitor go for it.

You have to be unique and very familiar with the niche you are creating your community about. Offer prices, and contests to gain more members.
