Problem is with a lot of social bookmarking sites like digg, reddit, etc, you need to be a "power user" to really attract a lot of attention. You can google how to be a power user for digg or reddit for example and it generally revolves around the friends you have. For example, a lot of the power users are in tight groups where they bump up/share others submissions.
I actually have been trying to become a power user over at digg, but it takes a lot of time and dedication like many other things in order to get decent results. So if you don't have the time, then just hope your SEO is great
That was really good pices of advise. But even if a lot of them you could do just for few minutes, overall doing everything would still consume hours of my time.. But still if someone has an extra time, I must agree that you should really include that on your daily routine.
These are excellent tips. You have reminded us that we should regularly participate and build relationship and broaden our network through adding new friends, commenting on their post and the fact that this cannot be done overnight but it should be done on long term basis.
been focusing mostly on facebook lately. Never really been a fan of the whole twitter thing, its just boring. Although I am sure there is alot of traffic to be made there....
