Online chat service?

I'm looking for something like Etherpad where it provides a place for people to do online chat without using AOL, yahoo messenger, or MSN.

I would use etherpad, except its servers are maxed out.

Yes, I want to chat with my design client in real time. But I don't want to give out my instant messenger ID.

There are plenty of live chat services out there on the net, all you need to do is put live chat into google im sure u will find many many to choose from !
