PHPBB Spammers

Hi all

On one of my teams websites (www.tilehurst-terriers.co.uk/forum) we have been encountering problems regarding spammers. Its getting rather blummin annoying. So I turnt on the admin activation. However as there is so so many registrations its hard to know whose genuine and whose not. Can anyone advise me what to do to rectify this situation.

Turn OFF signatures to guests

Turn OFF "Home Page" in profiles

Don't show "profile" pages to non members (includes search engines)
http://tilehurst-terriers.co.uk/forum/memberlist.php for example

Forum spammers and signature link spammer only post for the link in search engines. Take away those links and the spammers will start to go away
