Yes, I'm on Twitter. It's a useful way to keep your friends up to date but I'm not to sure that people would be checking up on their friends profiles every other minute to find out what's going on.

Twitter looks like it's going to get a lot of traffic being talked about by Chris Pirillo and posted on the CNN.com Technoloy Website.

twitter is in the limelight right now, as did myspace/facebook a while back...every site goes through it.

You have to try it to get out of that mindset. It's up to you of course. I certainly won't force you to join if you don't want and it's possible you may not get the same value from it as others. Only way to know is to try.

To me, Twitter is a fantastic tool that I use to keep in contact with people whose professional views I am interested in. I also use it to get quick answers to the questions I have about a variety of topics.

I totally hear you. There are times when I don't want to use Twitter and there are times when I do. I see some people literally living on Twitter. That behavior is a little excessive. But I find it incredibly valuable for so many other reasons.

I am just loving it more with more than 500 people whom i follow. I love to read the new stories that are shared there and people chatting with each other too!
