Yea, I was going to say, every SEO has his own definition of what's Black Hat. The most strict is that everything you do to manipulate search engine results, is Black Hat. That would mean, even if you do a link trade, or try to get a directory listing with your keyword as anchor text instead of the site name. When I'm consulting with a client I like to tell them at the beginning that everything you do carries a certain amount of risk with it. Some things are riskier than others, obviously, but every move you make to SEO your site, however certain you are that it will increase your rankings, the search engines are unpredictible and you may end up decreasing your rankings.
