Yeah the topic says it all.

I have set up a new community for Cigarette and Cigar Smokers.

I never thought of it this way, will encouraging smoking through my community will get me into any trouble?

Please let me know about this guys.

I think it will, I mean you might have people suing you saying that you pushed them into smoking more and more until they developed cancer.

Just watch out for those people :P

The problem is if you OD you'll probly be dead. If you develop cancer you'll still have time to sue. Just place plenty of warnings like the ones you get on cigarette packs (do they do that in the US?)

I'd either focus on quitting, or not do the forum. 1) Because your conscience will bother you, and 2) Because simply discussing it will lead to the pleasures and such, thus indirectly encouraging it. For instance, as a kid, I read Asterix in Siwtzerland, which made me want to eat strong cheese, cuz Asterix did.

You should be safe as long as you are only discussing or "encouraging" tobacco smoking. You may get into trouble if you encourage smoking other things.

Sad....Sad people wanting to talk about smoking  How painfully boring,

"How do you smoke yours?"

"I put it in my mouth, suck, Hold.... and blow" end of conversation

BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
