This is great! I use Word Press; does anyone know how to set it to ping? I can't find that (yes, I'm a newbie at blogging, sorry!)

I find the answer. Let's see if it works

For wordpress 2.2.2 (this version I used), go in your wp-admin, Options -> Writing -> Update Services and add there the address you want to ping (separated lines).

My latest blog post still doesn't show up

. I use the ping choise, still... Any ideea?

Me too having the same problem. Used both pinging and WTU. Nothing is working.

I'm having problems with "Latest Blog Post". Basically it is not updating itself and still saying my latest post is something I posted a while back. Any suggestions?

What do you have in your Blog RSS Feed URL? Is it this?:
http://hamesy.com/blog/?feed=rss2

Also do you have is set to WMT update or Ping? Mine is on WMT Update, and it works fine.

I am new here and I have just set up my latest blog post. Trying this out here to see if it works fine.

Apparently, as someone pointed out earlier I need a new post AFTER I added the feed here.

My avatar is not showing either.
