Eh, people misspell my last name, too, even when I tell them it's spelled like the newspaper spells it. I get Daly, Daley, Dailey, but usually not my spelling.
Too, I have to spell out my email address, because there's any number of ways to spell "SAIR-ehn de-FAE".  Oftentimes people reading it pronounce it, "SUR-AND-FAE". Go figure when you derive a username from Welsh and Middle English (by then francofied).
