Anyways congrats to everyone and i think the results went fair and as i expected, Tamar won it.
Lee should have done something to award something to the 5th to 10th positions too.. Lol.

5th did win the package too.
6th to 10th.. yes it would be nice to hear they got something for their hard work.
I especially feel bad for LPSPIDER who lost by only 36 points.
I keep having a voice from "Invader Zim" Episode 1 where the 'Almighty Tall' say to their 'less superior' soldiers "You should have tried harder!"
If you need to hear it in context here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShdV-NXaYmY
Of course, if you watch too much Invader Zim, like I have, you hear lots of their voices repeatedly in your head. Even repeating lines to your friends and family, who often have NO CLUE what you're referring to. And threaten to lock you up in a place with padded walls.
I always wanted padded walls. YAY!

6th-10th place: You mean the love and admiration of fellow WMT members isn't enough?
awww.....
-
Lpspider: WWF's (i guess it's WWE now) Mean Gene Okerlund used to say that Close counts with horseshoes and hand grenades...
unfortunately, in the real world, even a difference of 1 point separates the macbook winners from the potential macbook winners...
I have to salute the members who racked up more than 10,000 points, because it sure was a demonstration of true grit.
Use the cash wisely, grow your web biz, and more importantly, post your success stories here!

The last day alone I wrote 8 articles.. then had (my 2nd for the contest period) seizure an hour after I submitted the last one. This contest was really hard on me. I had 2 seizures and was sick 4-5 days during it because I was trying so hard. I'm disabled with a seizure condition and am supposed to 'pace myself' and not try too hard and crash and burn. I crash and burn a lot obviously.
When I saw this prize package I KNEW this could be a chance to change my life for even YEARS! I expect the next 2 years I'm going to have a huge jump. I mean $1200 in free advertising is enough to make a true difference! The rest is just added bonuses. I mean.. I've been using a Pentium 1 laptop for years. Having something up to date and even NEW? It's mind blowing. I've been bugging my husband for a mp3 player for a while. He loans me his but refuses to fork out 30 euro so I can get one. So the ipod touch is like candy. Mmm I loves my candy! The DS lite, my 12 year old son has been begging his dad for for over a year. His dad supports 4 people on his income and just can't get it for him, and since I have no income there's no way I could have gotten it for him.
My plan is to video tape my son (using the FLIP camera of course!) opening the box with the DS lite in it, and then telling him its his. I'll be sure to post the video here. hehe A success story to say the least!
My family who helped by signing up and doing their 10+ posts are all expecting Rabid Purse Squirrel t-shirts from the deal. Yes, I'm going to print out 24 t-shirts of Rabid Squirrels. Take that Skull Smiley Clan! hehe
To me, just winning is a huge success story. The struggles, the pain, the sickness, the continuing even knowing that someone who wasn't disabled and was as determined as me to win could beat me. I never expected to come in 2nd.
Winning.. has changed my life. Thank you Webmaster-Talk!

Yes I'm a regular poster child. LOL
I see my kids for 3 weeks in June and they love making movies and watching home movies. I think we'll end up with a lot of footage when the 3 weeks are done.

Wow Naughty Girl, thats some really hard work you did. You deserve the prize. And now my honest thoughts about this contest..
This contest actually had brought me closer to this forum, and had introduced me to some good people who became my friends. And also the forum looks very much better with more member and the merger. Good work Tim and other admins and other moderators who try to keep this forum to a good level, and also good luck to the winners with the prizes, hope they invest it well in the web world to flourish well, as said by Andrew Wee
I think i would now stick to this forum for always

Congrats everyone!
Katharina - It makes me very happy to know that someone who will truly benefit from the prize package has won. I pray that your health benefits from this win 1000 times more than it was detrimental.

I just got contacted by the t-shirt company, so it looks like the ball is rolling. Waiting for word on the Macbok Air from Clickbooth though. Can't wait.

Man, whenever Lee launches these contests they always launch whenever I'm busy with a lot of work! Now I'm not any more.
Oh well. Maybe Lee & Tim might hold this same contest again next month!

Chaunna,
Your husband Justin has been updating me on how hard you've been working on this...
It'd be interesting to see a followup post about the type of effort and sacrifice you put in to get the win!
PS: start up a twitter account if you don't already have one.
