Can I post the same blog post on multiple blogs or does each post need to be different?

Isn't it possible that someone with a high traffic site could simply refer like 10 people a day to an affiliate network and not even mention Webmaster-Talk, yet end up winning? Everyone else could be posting lots and writing articles but still be beaten by some guy with a high traffic site that might not even mention Webmaster-Talk - just refer a load of people to those affiliate networks?

I'm still trying to figure out how to submit articles. Anyone know?
And do they have to fit into the categories already in the articles area? It seems kinda narrow.

If you re-read the announcement, it says to send articles to webmaster[at]webmaster-talk.com I believe

Referrring to this - -
Each new sign up to any of the following sponsoring affiliate networks will gain you 100 points.
The sponsoring networks include Pepperjam Network, RevResponse, Advaliant, Rocket Profit, Max Bounty, and ClickBooth.
thanks

Tamar is correct. You only get the credit for joining their affiliate networks through the links they used for tracking purposes. If you personally referred more members through those same links they would have no idea they came from you.
We will get to any questions we missed shortly.

You are definitely still eligible.

It can be SEM related as well or any other topic that would be beneficial to a webmaster's business.

You cannot refer people to ad networks and get credit. That is for your signups only.

No, they need to be at least somewhat different. Otherwise we are looking at duplicate content which doesn't do much good.

We would love to have you participate. International members are also eligible to win.

- Will you ship internationally for free ?

- What if we are already a member of those affiliate programs ?
Thanks.

1. Yes.
2. No, posts made before the contest started won't count.
3. Sorry but we can't offer you those bonus points but you can still catch up by writing an extra article or referring a couple affiliates.

Sweet, just noticed that you have an empty Social Media category. Exciting!

You say count your own points, does this mean we tally our posts?
I mean, i've already had about 20-30 since yesterday. And it would be hard to tally my posts

No, all you need to do is write down your starting post count (from yesterday in your case), and then your ending post count at the close of the contest.
UPDATE: Aaron Wall has been kind enough to add 3 months of his SEO Training to the mix of contest prizes. It just got sweeter! That is valued at $300 PER PERSON!

Just FYI to the admins - the link to Rocket Profit is redirecting to a free lotto site. I'm in Germany currently, so that might be why, but I have a US address that I use for my site services so it shouldn't matter that I am viewing from a different country.
You might want to look into this.
