Wow, great prizes! But is anyone allowed to enter, or only residents of the USA?

Let the best webmaster win.

But seriously I will not miss out on a contest like this.

Just a quick question.

When you say you have to count your own points, does this mean we'll have to tally every post we make?

I'm not so sure about this........

What's the reasoning behind this contest? Why turn WT into some sort of "point game"? I just don't see how this can improve the quality of the forums....

This is pretty cool - one question though. I participated in the similar contest you had at earnersforum before the merger (and was one of the winners). Am I still eligible for this contest?

Thanks!

If you ask me, it's an issue of brand awareness and that repeated exposure does bring repeat visitors. Trust me, it works.

Speaking of questions, is there a limit to the number of articles that can be submitted per member? Additionally, when you say "SEO," do you mean specifically Search Engine Optimization or the entire umbrella of Search Engine Marketing (which would include social media?) Let's put it this way: I'm a big fan of social media.

IT's my understanding you have to keep your own point tally and at the end of the month if you think you won you contact them.

and as far as the articles SEO or SEM I am sure would apply as both are topics discussed here. and as far as how many articles as long as they are truely unique and of decent quality i am sure they will take what you got remember they get exclusive rights meaning you can't repost the article later on your own site or elsewhere.

James, this contest is about a lot more than just making posts. And as stated in the contest rules, low quality one liner posts won't qualify. It's also about growing Webmaster-Talk.com and getting our forums in front of people who may have otherwise not known about us. Most of the points are gained from referring new members and submitting original articles for us to use in our articles section.

I don't see why you wouldn't be eligible. Maybe you can win both!

I think posts in the introduction forum should not count for this contest.

Congrats on the merger...
I have few questions :
- Will you ship internationally for free ?
- What about the current post count members have ? will they be counted ?
- What if we are already a member of those affiliate programs ?

Thanks.

Hey Lee,,,

quick question - Im totally in for this!

For the affiliate signups.. do i only get points if I sign up to the affiliate programs or will i get points for sending others there too? if so do i just keep track of who i sent or will you guys tell me who registered?

Referrring to this - -
Each new sign up to any of the following sponsoring affiliate networks will gain you 100 points.
The sponsoring networks include Pepperjam Network, RevResponse, Advaliant, Rocket Profit, Max Bounty, and ClickBooth.

thanks
Chaunna
