I doubt I'll be at the top either but I wouldn't mind 3rd or 4th or even 5th. hehe. Remember there are 5 winners and they each get the prize package!

But as you said, this article issue has got me into big doubt as many might have submitted many articles!
This contest should have been fully related to forum activity.. lol

Okay, due to confusion on the time, we are going to allow the contest to continue running until 11:59pm CST tonight. I will accept people's submissions through PM until Thursday, 3:00pm CST. Thanks and sorry for the confusion!

I just submitted my totals to Lee via PM. It's been fun and I hope I've done enough to win a prize. Of course, it's kind of hard to tell where every one is with their point totals, but I guess that's part of the suspense of the whole contest.
Cheers,
Alan

Screw suspense, I'm impatient!! I say we report our totals here tomorrow.
I wonder how many people were silently participating, because just reading the posts here makes me a little antsy. And if there was more on top of that....
Hmm...

Erm folks, while it's fantastic to win a prize, i'd suggest making fun one of the elements in taking part of this contest. or expanding your skill in blogging about the contest, starting interesting forum posts, or doing research and writing an article.
Above all, do it for yourself.
If you're doing it purely for the money, it gets old after a while and you burn yourself out in the process.
With all that said, do remember to submit your points totals and email your submissions!

I do agree. This is the first contest I've really been in online. Maybe because its the only one I thought I had a shot at winning. It's been a good experience and has taught me how much of a work load I can handle, and also how contests divert my attention to my normal work. lol
Its been a learning experience, winning or not. And I won't forget it.

I disagree, mostly. What good does writing articles and posting on a forum do for you? It could possibly slightly increase your writing skills, but probably not. I am doing it for me, but I'm doing it for a macbook air for me. :P

Yep, but you did benefit because you learned from it. I certainly did too.

I cant wait to hear everyones results! was checking on the referal stats this evenening - way to go sizzler_chetan on getting 15 qualified referalls... I got 8 but they havent allr eached their 10 count quota (i sort of dont like that rule )
best of luck to everyone - through I'm really hoping to get a top 5 spot
|
My blog post worked well on that
But anyways thats a very less number of points as i didnt work much with articles.

Since this is over, I suppose there's no harm in sharing our point totals?

Well, I was the one of the less vocal competitors, but this was really fun. Congrats to everybody! It will be really exciting to see who wins.

Totals PM'ed. I'm taking a well earned day of rest today. I know I'm not the only one that has earned it.
