Hey Guys and Girls!

This is not to discourage you from posting (so don't stop please!) , but I thought a new live chat room might be a good addition!

Check it out:

The FWT Live Chat Room. Click Here!

As well, there is a new chat room link at the bottom of every page.

I Hope you like it!

Dave is thinking outloud again:

Interesting thought, but I wonder if there is a way to automatically log into the chat when you log into the forum.

Then, instead of pm'ing someone that is present on the forum, you could just talk to them in the chat.

But of course, you would need a beep or something to alert logged in users that someone wants to chat.

And then it would need to disconnect from the chat when you logged out.

Excuse me for the brain burp!

Dave

Sounds like a good idea Dave, but that would take a hack which I don't know how to do...

Chopper, do you think you would able to figure something out like that...?

Cant be done as of yet as no one has invented any hacks like this

That is cool! And I like the chatroom as shown in your example.

Maybe we should put in a request for a hack like that on the vBulletin board? Seems like there's always people looking for something like that to do.

Chop,

I like how that looks also. Are you going to use that publicly on Tech Forums?

Here's another of those thinking outloud things, geemyknee, please continue to pardon the brain burps!

Is it possible for either the posts or threads column in the Chat Forum row to have the number of people currently in the chat?

This would be a greater incentive for people to go into the chat if they saw that someone was in there.

And while thinking about that, is it possible for either the posts or threads column in the Tech Forums column to show how many people have used that link?

Those zeros and the "never" bug me.......another IMO, huh?
