I suppose this suggestion comes down to a matter of personal preference, but I think the board would like better if the width was shortened a little. Everything just seems a little stretched at the moment, and sometimes a compacted look makes a place feel more professional.

As an extra thought, if you didn't want to change the default skin for this forum, how about you make a secondary version of this skin which is thinner, so members can choose which one to use once they register?

Hope this is taken into consideration,

I find the narrow forums much easier to read. On wide forums like this, I generally narrow my window size. Otherwise I get lost reading across almost a two foot wide section of text.

Just make sure you keep a 100% width option for those of us that prefer it that way.

I keep mine at 95% to 100%. I've tried out having fixed width designs, but the members gathered at midnight with pitchforks and torches and I got scared and put them back to fluid.

I think when members are used to having the fluid design, then they feel like they are losing something when you change it. My last forum was started out fixed and I am hoping to never have to change it.

Lee, can I make a request? Can you make a quick creation of a default vbulletin version while you have the new design being built?

I am on my hands and knees begging. I cannot follow this forum well at all. Something just isn't right. :crying:
