I have a friend re doing my website in ASP.net and on the contact page he has placed a captcha, but this isn't displaying and we cant work out why, he thinks its to do with the virtual directory but the hosting company are 100% confident there is nothing wrong with the server.

Where do I go from here, the captcha appears in visual studios but not when hosted

How are using using the image displayed in the captcha? Do you generate the temporary stored image? If so, you have the write permisssion where your page stores that image.
