Someone at work told me that I should download .NET framework version 2 since I only have version 1.

Is this necessary? Will it mess up my computer? I'm clueless about this.

I appreciate all feedback.

.net 1.0 and 2.0 have some difference in between control.. if you develop your app in 1.0, you might need to change some code when you convert to 2.0
