I had a custom icon (smiley) which is supposed to be "hi"

but the problem is the picture is blank. So whenever I type "hi" this blanck picture comes out as if nothing is there. For example if I want to type something like "think" it comes out like "t nk"

I tried to delete it and edit it and then it goes fine until I sign off. When I sign in again the problem rises again.

This problem is getting on my nerves. I really need to fix it asap. So is there a way so I can locate this icon and delete it permenantely from the MSN folder or by other means? Pls do not tell me to remove MSN and then reinstall it because I had a lot of smileies and icons that I can't live without
