It's a pretty good article for beginners but at the same time I hate the phrase "passive income" as infomercials, etc. use it non-stop. It really makes the whole process sound a bit too easy, monetization is always my easiest step when I create a site.

Great information you have shared. Yep to achieve "passive income" you have to work hard for it first. It doesn't happen overnight.

How much you earn really depends more on how much traffic you get. And to get good traffic you need good content.
