I've heard of people that did but never really got the low'down on it. It seems you can get a better commission by going straight through the publishers.

I don't have any sales at all but I heard of others having a good time with them. They have a fantastic array of products, I guess if you have a niche web site you can try selling some of the corresponding products. Shd be quite profitable

I've made one or two sales and that's it. Don't really have a site that fits into it's demographics.

Same here, had some sales with it. I just think the 1 day cookie is grossly unfair, because most people don't buy straight away. So when they go back to buy, you'll get nothing, but you did refer them in the first. I think you're missing out on a lot of commission. Just my 2 cents.

You can sometimes mix Ads on your site, just don't overdo it. This will eventually lead to ad blindness and low CTR. I would suggest that you settle for a few cents per click. Just improve on content and you can get better over time.

I use Amazon and it's not very good for me. I'm still looking for anything that works. If anybody finds something please let me know. I think most surfers use search engines to go directly to the site.

I've used amazon affiliates but unfortunately,I didn't manage to get any sales whatsoever.Mostly because my blog has insignificant traffic.

I used to get pretty good success with amazon.
I would put ads to books that were related to articles in the articles.

Most of my stuff is programming how-to's. So links to books on specific subjects is a natural combination.

I think it works best if you get a minimum of 500 uniques per day and an average time on site greater than 5mins. That will get you a few books/day. Then, just grow from there.

I dropped them some time ago due to a philosophical issue.

Amazon doesn't pay by bank deposit in Australia(Google does). So they send a cheque from the US, and deduct $15 from your earnings for the privilege.

That's why I don't use them. But if I was living in the US, I'd use both Amazon and Google to maximise my income.
