Just a quick one, im 90% sure I am safe with what I am doing but though somone here could put some input in.

If needed I will be talking to a legal proffesional however rather than spend the money straight up no harm asking here.

I work for a company who provide websites to a proffesional industry, subscription/monthly cost based. They use an in-house CMS specifically made for the industry they sell too.

My online business has been inspired/based on my experience at my job, its a solid and profitable model.

I HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY CODE, CLIENTS, DOCUMENTATION ETC from them, Im not using any of thier equipment or time to do work on my business or my clients.

I am targetting a very differnet market to them, we are talking the difference between a stone and a drop of water, there are no connections nor similaritys in the two industrys (Thiers is a proffesional financial institutions, mine is the creative industry).

Is there any legal or ethical implications by me starting my own business based from my experiences at my employment, seeing as how im not affecting thier business or clientbase?

Using experience to form a similar business model is not illegal. It's called being smart.
