Hey,

In any case, how safe is it for a webmaster to use his credit card for client's domain name registration? Especially, when the webmaster knows that his client isn't providing actual information for account ownership?

Thanks

It is not safe at all.

You already know that the client is falsifying his registration information. If you help him in his efforts you are a co-conspirator in whatever illegal activities your client may become involved in.

For instance, if your client where to use this domain with false registration to Spam people, you could be looking at jail time under the Can-Spam Act.

While this is an extreme example, you just don't know what the client is going to do -- but since he is being less than honest in signing up for the domain, you know the client is not an honest individual. Don't let his dishonesty get you in trouble.
