Are ShiftCode GPT sites (GetPaidTo complete offers, surveys, freebies, etc) qualified, in any way, into any of these categories? :

1. Multi-Level Marketing
2. Ponzi Scheme
3. Pyramid Scheme
4. Matrix Scheme
5. Get Rich Quick Scheme

I would like to hear your opinions, but, even more, I would love to hear some FACTS. Do you know, for a fact, if GPT sites could be marked into any of those categories?

I'm asking for a reason, which I will explain later. For now, just trying to get some answers.

GPT sites are generally considered a Multi-level marketing model. If you google "GPT sites" and look for definitions instead of offers for you to join GPT, they are defined by legitimate sources as multi-level marketing.

Multi-level marketing businesses function by recruiting salespeople (also called Distributors, Independent Business Owners, IBOs, Franchise Owners, Sales Consultants, Beauty Consultants, Consultants, etc.) to sell a product and offer additional sales commissions based on the sales of people recruited into their downline, an organization of people that includes direct recruits, recruits' recruits, etc. This arrangement is similar to franchise arrangements where royalties are paid from the sales of individual franchise operations to the franchisor as well as to an area or region manager, but in some MLM programs, there can be seven or more levels of people receiving royalties from one person's sales

That's the wiki definition. Can you find me another definition of Multi Level Marketing? Because to that definition, GPTs DEFINATLY do not fall into that category.

What was your sources for defining MLM?

I understand what you said. But define Multi Level Marketing and you will realize that googling it is pointless, considering that MLM hasn't anything to do with GPT.

PS: I did google it, and nothing to do with MLM came up whatsoever.

well GPT technically is MLM... as you are marketing to people hoping they will signup for offers... but also you offer them incentives to refer people etc... While it isn't the SCAMMING type of MLM it is still in essence somewhat a MLM...
I would say a GPT is in the same category as rewards type sites more along lines of incetive sites... the key is be open and honest and don't promise they can make millions or thousands when the real likely hood is maybe a few hundred over a year for the agressive ones.

So why is this so serious?

To really answer your question about the gpt falling into any category, I would need to know what type "exactly" of gpt site you would be running.

Get Paid To, is just not enough information, sorry.

Depending what your are intending could place it in any or none or some of the five categories.

I would suggest a good attourney.

What category does my car fall into? (red with 4 tires)

1. race car
2. luxury car
3. classic
4. leased car
5. basic trasportation

Please tell me as I want to run an ad in the paper and I need to know what category to place it in.

I yahoo'd red car and it doesn't tell me.

I would say that most are not mainly because there are so many that just close up. There are some legit ones though. Even some rating sites that claim to list only legit gpt sites are simply being paid by the owners to say they are legit so be careful.
