What do you guys think about this?

I've started a video website that links to videos of movies/shows hosted on YouTube, GoogleVideo, Dailymotion etc... Now I've read a few post already on this forum that are saying linking to illegal content hosted on sites such as youtube can get you in trouble.

My question is does anyone think my site,(keep in mind its small and receives not many visitors) would get shut down or sued? I live in the US and the site is hosted in the US. I cant imagine my site being a target while sites like peekvid, tv-links, large movie pirating forums, and the many videos on sites such as YouTube, Dailymotion, go unchecked.

I've never heard of these sites being attacked or sued, and I had one myself for a few weeks. I bagged it because I believe the presence of google universal search (youtube and google videos in the SERPs), coupled with the coming launch of MySpace TV, will make these types of sites little more than second-tier aggregators with little profit potential.

Yeah I understand what your saying but I feel that since my site links to infringing content it could be a target. but in the same sense google links to infringing content yet nobody would ever think that was illegal.

im sure if the content is hosted on youtube, they will have to to take all the legal stuff. you are just linking to them
