There's no reason to buy anything to find out what the FTC rules are. All you have to do is go to the ftc.gov web site. There are sections if you look around for consumers and businesses. The basic thing to be concerned about: truth in advertising. If you make income claims for any product or business opportunity, you have to be able to prove to the government that the income you claim people can make is what the average person buying your opportunity makes. If you are selling nutitional supplements or similar things, claims need to be provable and the results the typical person using the product would get. (Provable may mean clinically proven -check the FTC site.)
Pyramid schemes are another no-no.
