I bought his 'definitive guide to adwords' a month ago and not getting the results that I want. Maybe I am not reading it right or the products i'm promoting is saturated.

Anyway, during one of those nights of dissappointment, i decided to get my money back and was spending around 10 minutes on his site, trying to find the button to claim my money back. didn't find it.

tried to find support email - nope didnt find that too.

so i replied to his newsletter, received none. use his "seminar reservation" form, also not getting a reply.. im starting to feel a bad taste in my mouth now.

i hope he's on a vacation somewhere and didn't check his email since 2 weeks ago.... anyone of you know how to go about getting my money back? (he's giving all buyers 90 days money back guarantee).

What's his domain name?

Whatever it is go to http://www.whois.sc and then type in his domain name. You should be able to find his phone number, email and address.

Sorry for beeing so rude, but Perry Marshalls book is TOP NOTCH. It's unbelievable to even SELL this guide to the public.

You can't find a better adwords book imho.

Hmmm... If he is stupid, is he no longer entitled to the advertised refund?

Hi Izo,

before you call anyone stupid, read the post again. Did I say his book is not good or of bad quality? I posted there "its not working for ME".

Who looks stupid now?

The reason I bought that book is because it is the most recommended book for adwords and considered an "adwords Bible". Because of the negative results I'm getting, I blame my self or the market I'm trying to target (but mostly my self).

So if it's not working for me after a month and 5 campaigns, I'm just taking up on his promise to return my money if not satisfied. Anything wrong with that?

Reed - I know his domain, it's perrymarshall.com.

I would like to know if anyone managed to get his money back.

hmm, I chated with many adwords earners in various forums, and now those people are very successful.

they all have something in common: 1 to 2 years of learning curve.

Keep the book, and work on it. Don't give up.

Also, know that NO EBOOK will help you to make money online... Think of the book like a tool. You still have to do the work.

No magic pills. It's a business.

If you think I look stupid now, this is your opinion.

It think it's not fair to request your money back just because you can't make money. He described everything in detail, he provided a blueprint foryou and all you care about this how to get your measly 15 bucks back.....this is low imho.

What are you? Marshalll's bodyguard?

If he bought a crap book and wants to get his moeny back then what is the problem.

And the only stupid thing here was actually buying a book and thinking it would be the miracle way to earn money. Marshall and everyone else are millionaires because of suckers and newbies

Read again, he actually said that he feels like it's actually a good book. He wants his money back because he failed at applying his tips and guidelines. That's certainly not something, perry marshall can be held responsible for. Otherwise, he just could start writing checks.

1. If you're unhappy with this course for any reason, tell me within 30 days for a full and courteous refund.

2. If you implement my strategies and you don't cut the cost per click of your existing campaigns by an absolute minimum of 25%, tell me within 90 days for a full, no-hassle refund. (Many customers slash their ad cost by 50%, 70%, even 80 or 90%!)

3. If you're not able to test new ideas at lower cost, find new markets and discover new customers because of this toolkit, just let me know within 90 days and you'll receive a full and courteous refund

so why is he wrong for asking?

I'm not saying that he doesn't have the RIGHT to ask for a refund. I certainly wouldn't ask for it because its low in my opinion to consume very good information and then asking your money back just because you suck at business.

But it's his choice. It was part of the sales agreement, so he got the right to demand his money back. I just have principles of my own.

lol.. the whole because you suck at business thing is entertaining in itself. Just because something works for one, doesn't mean it works for another. Personally I wouldn't request a refund for something, if I felt the information was worth it either. Doesn't mean I would lower myself to name calling and making myself look like an *** either Opinions are all relative in the end.

thx midland for displaying the promises that Perry made.

well i'm sorry many are involved in this minor issue. my money has been refunded during the weekend.

one of the reason that I bought the book was because of its promise that I could ask for a refund if i'm not happy with it, so i'm not. and this is like after a month i bought it.

i even received a PM offering to buy the book for less the original price, of course I rejected the offer.

anyway, thx for all your inputs and comments.

FYI if anyone ever wants to read these books without paying I know a few grey area ways to do so.

It's just that some of these books I'd like to read, but I don't want to pay for so through alot of researching (about 2 weeks worth) I've found alot of books.

Books like "The Rich Jerk" are mostly garbage, like the only thing I found in it even interesting was a couple of the Ebay Distributors that were nice.

I've come to figure out that it's probally just best to get your feet wet and try something new rather than begging the green bar people for an 'easy' way.

I learned alot of BH seo tricks today I'm going to try and set up a domain I have and run some tests on it. I just need to get an adsense account.
