I want to know too! I got the CD and had a phone interview with a man who told me the program would cost me 2000 bucks. Well, I really needed someone to help me with multiple tax returns from 3 years past so I asked him if the 2000 would also get my taxes done. He said nope, that it would cost me 2000 more if they did my taxes too... But he sure made me feel like they could help me! If the $2000 would have covered the tax returns I would have DONE it in a minute. But Then right before I gave them the money, I asked some friends if they had heard of this group.... and boy did I get an ear full. It was not good, and so I never did pursue this.

I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH DREW MILES.
HE HAS MY $1995, WON'T HONOR HIS GUARANTEE REFUND, AND I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY THAT HE IS ALL BLUFF AND HIS COACH WAS PREOCCUPIED WITH HER OWN BUSINESS? HE HAS NO INTEGRITY TO STAND BEHIND HIS GUARANTEE!
SO FROM MY EXPERIENCE, HERE IT IS:
WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GIVE DREW MILES $1995 FOR HIS COACHING PACKAGE IS :
1. The name of a THICK book to go buy so you can study and learn all about taxes ON YOUR OWN TIME.
No, Pathfinder does not do any of your taxes at all.
2.A coach who knows NOTHING, not even the most basic info, on Asset Protection, but she will direct you to Drew Miles’ website where you pay him another $1995 TO PUT MORE MONEY IN HIS POCKET and he’ll help you set up a corp.
Unfortunately, what is even worse than not knowing anything IS giving out WRONG ADVICE , which his coach gave me.
3.A few CD’s and a notebook came with the COACHING program, which basically tell continuosly how great he is. I cancelled and sent all materials back, and have proof of return to his office, and yet HE STILL HAS REFUSED TO CONTACT US OR TO REFUND OUR $1995 and it’s been a year now.

All I know is that I get a lot of spam from him. My requests to be removed from his mailing list have been ignored, so I created a filter that dumps anything from him straight into the trash - where it belongs.

Wow, I drop out of things to do final book edits and come back to quite a rant!
No, that wasn't spam. It was an honest question.
Thanks everyone for your input. Wow, it's amazing how you can get rave reviews from some and the the opposite from others. Overall from what I've seen, Drew Miles has a good reputation.
If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you can't please everyone. No matter who you are, there will be those who are thrilled with you and those who think you're a disgrace.
Just for curiosity, does anyone have an opposing view?

I'm sorry to hear that anyone on this forum has had a bad experience with Drew Miles. His strategies have saved me a bundle! I used to be scared to death about taxes, but what I learnd from Drew and his system have made me feel much more competent.
Cat, I know you've gotten one really negative response, but I hope you'll "do your homework" and research Drew Miles. You're right in reasoning that anybody is likely to have an unsatisfied customer. It's part of business. I've worked in food services at all levels for years, and there are plenty of times when the restaurant gives positively great service but has a customer who just can't be pleased. I've worked in the hotel industry and had the same experience. I venture to say that any industry is the same. No matter who you are, if you're in business, you'll make someone unhappy whether you intend to or not.
Drew has had some high profile clients. Mike Litman is one of the "heavyweights" - oh, not in terms of size but reputation - who sings Drew's praises because Drew has saved him so much dough. (couldn't resist the baking reference).

Would someone tell me the particulars of Drew Mile's program?
What quantifiable tax reduction did you receive?
How much personal direction was provided?
Did you use their CPA for tax returns or your local accountant?
Would you refer others to the Drew Mile's program?
Thanks for taking a moment to do this...any comments are helpful. Do you know of others offering programs similar to Pathfinders?

SPAM, SPAM, SPAM,
Cat is Drew's Sister Cathy!!! I used to work there and she is his TOP sales person. Don't be fooled, Drew took ALL of sandy Botkin's (lower your taxes big time) book and turned it into a coaching program. His coaches are not even financially stable, not ONE, nor are they licensed in anything. His best buddy is Ted Thomas (look that fraud artist up)

Someone explain to me why this guy is worth so much more than a really good accountant. My accountant saves me a ton of money - and I don't have to read any books or attend seminars. AND he prepares my tax return.
Perhaps I have an advantage - a husband who is a CPA with a Master's of Taxation degree who grilled the accountant before declaring him competent (in case you're wondering why he doesn't prepare the return, taxes aren't good for our marriage!).

In the summer of 2006, I purchased a Pathfinder Tax Strategy and Asset Protection Course via Amsco Marketing LLC. Subsequently, I was sent 4 CDs and an Incorporating Brilliance Book. The Incorporating Brilliance book was the written form of the 4 CDs.
I reviewed the information in the book as I listened to the CDs. Based on the information in the book, I took many notes on asset protection. Subsequently, I met with my attorney to review the notes to determine the best course of action to protect my personal assets. After reviewing several pages in the book, my attorney informed me that the information was outdated. Specifically, my attorney stated that the information detailed in the Incorporating Brilliance book was “pre George W Bush” and used the terms “misinformation” and “consumer rip-off”. Based on my attorney’s comments, I came to the conclusion that I could not trust any tax or asset protection recommendations that would be provided to me in the 6 Pathfinder coaching sessions that I would have received.
Therefore, I contacted Pathfinder Business Strategies LLC to inform them that I was canceling my agreement with their company due to the misinformation provided in the Incorporating Brilliance book and CDs. I also informed PFBS that I had contacted my credit card company to cancel payment.
Unfortunately, since I broke the seal on the book, the Credit Card company would only fight for half the return. Hence, I received outdated information for $1350! Wow, and if anyone thinks that is a good deal then they should sign up with Drew Miles’ coaching.
My recommendation is to read Sandy Botkin’s book titled “Lower Your Taxes – Big Time (2007-2008 edition)” and then consult a local tax attorney. I am certain you will get more for your money and be a lot happier with the results.

Drew Miles here. Because my name appears in this thread, I thought I'd take some time to respond to the comments and concerns that are being discussed.
I am sorry to hear of any dissatisfaction with our coaching program. To date, we have had over 3,000 people participate in our coaching programs and the vast majority of these folks have been very satisfied with the quality of our services and their tax saving results. In fact, so far we have helped our students uncover over $20 million in savings.
We honor all legitimate refund requests and have a very clear refund and guarantee policy listed on our website and coaching agreements. For those experiencing issues please contact our customer support department by calling 888-695-2765 and we'll do our best to remedy your situation.
I am a retired New York attorney, and CEO of Pathfinder Business Strategies. I started Pathfinder to provide the kind of quality tax and financial education that simply isn't available anywhere else. I stand behind all of my coaching programs, and I spend a great deal of time developing and improving them. I work closely with all of my coaches to maximize the effectiveness and tax savings to all of my clients. I do this because I'm committed to building a company that can make a difference.
In response to some comments made:
Pathfinder does not do tax returns, and we have never told anyone that we would do their taxes. Any tax strategist on my staff that made such a claim would not be with the company for long. We closely monitor all of our staff calls to protect both our clients and our company credibility.
Saying that “Pathfinder directs people to buy a thick book and figure it out on their own” simply isn't true. We offer intense 1-on-1 educational coaching programs that require some time to implement in order to see results, just like everything else in the real world.
We provide a significant amount of material including weekly teleclasses, over 25 hours of archived audio training, live workshops and and corporate forms including contracts, minutes, resolutions, etc. to supplement the one on one coaching. There is no "thick book" that is going to give you the kind of information you receive from our unique coaching programs, unless of course you want to read and digest the entire United States Tax Code - it's thousands of pages.
Regarding the reference to Sandy Botkin's book: while it is certainly an excellent reference on the topic of tax reduction, it is far from the only source of information contained within my coaching programs. I spent years as an attorney studying the tax code, and have worked with the best accountants, tax attorneys, and tax professionals in this country to learn the most effective techniques to lower your taxes to the legal minimum.
The statement that Pathfinder coaches aren't qualified simply isn't true. Each of our coaches are personally trained and certified by me before they are allowed to work with our students. In addition, they attend weekly training calls and 2-day live training classes at least twice a year. Our coaching staff includes successful business people, attorneys, CPAs and retired IRA agents. I'm not sure how much more qualified our staff could get...
I have nothing against CPAs and tax attorneys, in fact I often say that people place unfair expectations on them. By their own admission, accountants and CPA’s are not in the business of finding the deductions that their clients are missing. In truth, the majority of an accounts clientele are W-2 wage earners. There is very little that they can do to help these people reduce their taxes.
That's why our coaching program is different; it is the result of thousands of hours of study and review of case and tax law. You, the business owner, get the benefit of those countless hours of study as our coaching staff will identify the specific areas where you might not be working the tax system to its full effect and ultimately uncover substantial savings. To date, we have uncovered over $20 million in tax savings and that amount grows every week.
Let me assure everyone that all of the information contained in the Pathfinder coaching programs is completely legal and up to date. Tax Laws, revenue rulings and court decisions change frequently. We continually update our materials and provide the 1-on-1 coaching to answer your questions. Reading a book, no matter how “thick” won’t provide you with the near the benefits of our coaching programs.
The asset protection and tax strategies that we endorse in our programs are 100% legal, there absolutely no gray areas or questionable techniques. Our methods help to avoid audits and have withstood the test of time.
I hope this post can help individuals reading this forum (or that have posted), realize that Pathfinder Business Strategies is here to help legitimate business owners keep more of their hard earned money. I will use the critizism I’ve read here constructively to improve our programs and service.
Sincerely,
Drew Miles, J.D.

Drew,
I am not accepting your comments about your information on Asset Protection being up to date. Why would my lawyer tell me differently? My lawyer did not know you so what would compel her to say something that was not true?
To everyone: Please do your due diligence concerning Pathfinders Business Strategies LLC and Drew Miles. In addition to the Asset Protection and Tax Strategies Coaching, Drew and his company recommended United Pro Media in the spring and fall of 2006. People, including myself, met up with Drew Miles and Robert Kloihofer at one of Pathfinder's How to Retire in 30 Days (associated with United Pro Media) Seminars in Orlando, FL. I strongly recommend that you read up on United Pro Media. Type in "United Pro Media Scams" in your internet explorer site and review the website that shows up first. The website will be an eye opener.

Worthless Guarantee, Bad Tax Advise

Drew - Your guarantee isn't worth the paper it's written on. I was denied a refund (after going through the Better Business Bureau to even get a response) because I did not implement a "tax saving" strategy given to me by Pathfinders (only give to me "after" I requested the refund) because it is considered an avoidance of employment taxes and is specifically being looked at by the IRS. My CPA also advised against it. I have notified the IRS of your advise and, hopefully, you will be hearing from them.
Anyone looking at this program should carefully read the guarantee because, although it sounds good, it is written such that they will always find a way to deny your refund.
If you want tax advise, read Sandy Botkin's book and find a reputable CPA to work with you. Pathfinder's coaching is a total waste of time and money.
I also signed up with the R&D System (Robert & Drew) and UnitedProMedia and was ripped off by Robert, Drew, and their associate at UPM - Gary Calhoun.
The only ones building wealth are Drew Miles , Robert Kloifer, and Gary Calhoun.

AffiliateGuru -- Lucky you.
Sasha -- Thank you for your honest and forthright comments. I would hope that more people would post comments about their experiences with Pathfinder Business Strategies LLC / Drew Miles / PFBS Coaching.
Personally, I have heard of only one person that was happy with the results of the PFBS coaching. He was also the same person that was storing UPM products in his warehouse -- so there may have been some level of positive bias towards PFBS.
Sasha -- If you know of more people that had a negative experience with PFBS (Pathfinder Business Strategies LLC) / Drew Miles / Retire Now LLC, please ask them to post their comments on this website. I will do the same.

Drew Miles is a SCAM Artist

I trusted recommendations by PFBS (Pathfinder Business Strategies) Drew Miles concerning UPM and that is why I lost thousands of dollars. It appears that Drew Miles, Gary Calhoun, and Robert Kloihofer were all in this SCAM together.
Did I mention he's a man of GOD. He is truly an evil, mentally jacked up individual to say the least. He and his cult family write the "nice blogs" to make themselves sound good. The man is going to burn in hell...he is by far a man of god. He is a very bad person and does not care about any of you. All he cares about are his stupid speeches to steal your money.
BEWARE....The FBI is after his associates for their UPM SCAM.
PLEASE DON'T GIVE THIS CRIMINAL YOUR MONEY
In the future, everyone should do their due diligence if they are considering dealing with the following people: Drew Miles and Pathfinder Business Strategies (PFBS).

Financial Consultation for $25K

I was on a different site and read a question from a man asking if anyone had comments or suggestions concerning spending $25,000 for financial consultation with Pathfinder Business Strategies LLC.
Holy Cow! $25,000 for something that is normally provided at no cost to an investor? I am amazed at what I read about PFBS and Drew Miles. Maybe the person meant $2500 for Tax Strategies coaching -- but even that does not make sense since several people have found the PFBS coaching to be incapable of finding $10,000 of legitimate write offs.
What next? $10,000 for consultation on the safety of drinking tap water from an approved municipal source?
Yes, none of what PFBS (Pathfinder Business Strategies LLC) does is illegal but in my opinion it sure is borderline ethical.
