taxes

this is my first year doing taxes, and my questoin is - is it ok to use PayPal receipts as actually receipts or do you have to ask the site to give you one for everything you buy/sell (have you used them)? Thanks.

Also, about taxes, do I need to record EVERYTHING I buy? or only business related stuff?

twice in the last few weeks I was refunded my payment to two different companies. Do I need to record these events as both revenue and expense or can I just ignore it? thanks.

Report anything that involves upgrading/updating your website.. Whether it be in servers or designs.
