Hello! I have used a Add to favorites script on my page and also using the favicon.ico that is placed on my root dir. now the problem is this that when I bookmark my website through manually going to Favourite>Add to favourite then the favicon is displayed with my bookmark .. but when i do this by clicking on the text on my page along with i have used the Jscript then the page is bookmarked but the favicon is not displayed..

the code on my page is this
<A HREF="javascript:makeLink()">Bookmark This Site</a>

2nd problem that this code doesn't work in Firefox.. so what do do for this..

that code should work in any browser


it's probably the makeLink() function that isn't. Assuming you have the function defined somewhere of course.

I don't believe the icon is read until you visit the site.
