how to show "wait" until page is done loading?

Hi,

I have a window (page A) that has links that will open a new window (page B).
Page B may take between 0-300 seconds to load (it's running a sql query), so I would like to show a window (page C) that says "please wait". How could I have page C display, but then page C will automatically close when page B is done loading?

I think you need a Javascript preloader

Thanks for the suggestion.

All of the "preloaders" that I've seen deal with loading picture files. I don't have any pictures, but instead a sql query that takes a few moments to run.

How could I display a "wait" message for it? I'd like it to show "wait" until the page is done loading.
