Ive been trying to do a bit of jQuery and I was trying to do the slide up/slide down but after I done the codes i would click what i needed to click to make the box come down but instead of what i want to come down the whole text on the page would come down

Hi, This sounds to be problem with position of the DIV or container. Change it to absolute or fixed and retry. Hope that solves the problem or just drop me code to riyash.ips@gmail.com, will do whatever looking to do. Thanks
Eg:
Code:
$("myDiv").css("position","absolute");  -OR-  style="position:absolute;"
$("myButton").click(function() {
     $("myDiv").slideUp();
}
