I was wondering if anyone knows how to create a pop up window like this page: http://www.allhealthcarejobs.com/asp...ampaign=Indeed

You will notice that after loading the page for 2 seconds, a pop up window appears that asks for the visitor's email id.

Does anyone know how to create this kind of pop up?

Its done using javascript not PHP [insert rant about the difference between client side and server side code]. If you look at the source for the page there is a javascript function function ShowPopupMessage(). You can probably find its definition and figure out how it works.

In case you didn't know, however: these kinds of popups are among the best ways to annoy your users.

It's a good idea isn't it, ask a question about popups in a PHP forum and link a page that actually use asp.net!

the way this pop up works it uses javascript to show and hide a div on your page. It is quite simple.
