i've redesigned my site and added a jquery menu in hopes of getting it similar to my friends in terms of navigation/transitions. (right now only the links under "info" are working.)

there are two problems i've run into that i'm hoping someone from this forum can help to answer:

-1 or 2 dots appear to the left of the menu item that u click; i don't know how to get rid of this.

-i want that panel to stay open when you click a link, whereas right now it keeps closing after you click a link.

thanks for your help!

best,
ivan

first question is "how do i rid the site of this dot that follows every heading or click?":

2nd question is that i want the tabs to stay open, even after people click. it's totally annoying to have to re-open the list of links. i know it's possible , it's just about how to go about getting functionality.

Why don't you just ask your "friend" how it's done?????

So I fixed the menu issues: http://ivancash.com/test/bio.html

However, I've now been trying to get the jQuery plugin "Cycle" to work, and it's proving to be quite difficult.

I've finally figured out how to get their default images to fade, but can not, for the life of me get the "next" or "previous" buttons to work. another problem is that the menu doesn't open now and i can't figure out why.

thanks in advance for any helpful feedback!

thanks,
ivan

No solution for removing the dot and hope that other will work for you.
