I am having a lot of trouble with AJAX...and I badly need help with one of my university projects...
Well...starting off with my current problem...

I need to keep on calling a method from the servlet which checks if the user has any pending msgs. If there are any...then a popup should be displayed with the msg and two buttons..."Accept" & "Reject" and depending on the button clicked further changes should be made...

One more constrain is i already have an AJAX script running every two seconds to refresh the list of users online....

I know the logic...but the coding is what I am unable to do...simply not getting AJAX...so plz help...

nmallare...sorry..if the msg got conveyed in the different way...

What I meant was...I need some direction...some refrences which I cud go thru..
I searched the net and got some thing about modal popup dialog box...but I am not sure if that could be implemented to JSP and in Eclipse...

Help is urgent....any AJAX experts here???
