I'm currently creating a vertical menu using javascript.

My question is, do I need to make each seperate item a link to a page, or can I just make the final options link to a page?

For example, this website: http://www.optionjdm.com/option_cart/index.php

You'll notice that each option in the menu (Exterior --> Acura, Honda -->) will link to a page. I'm wondering if I need to do this, or if I can just have the final options (Civic, Accord, etc.) link to actual pages?

P.S. That's not my site.

Jeez talk about taking meta keyword stuffing to ridiculous proportions!!!

Whatever options you need to link, make them link. If they don't, then don't.

BTW you do realise that a menu like that will make the site totally inaccessible to javascript disabled user agents such as search engines and some disability aids.

I could do the same using a CSS menu - I'll look into that. Would that be the best option?
