Anytime I crop a high resolution picture in PSP7 the size of my file shrinks considerably. For example, I cropped a minimum amount from a 952KB picture, but the new cropped picture was 247kb. And it had lost detail, which I could detect by putting the picture files next to each other and zooming in. But when I select "Image Information" there is no appreciable change in Image Dimensions, pixels per inch, or anything else. What gives?
