What is the resolution..??

Hi!
I am new in graphics design and I would like to know next:
1- What is the screen resolution on your computer when you design images for web?
2- What is the best image resolution for images for web (72 p/inch or...) ?
3- How many colors are on your monitor (16 bit, 24 bit...)??

I would like to make images for web.

My screen resolution doesn't make any difference. It's the DPI of the FINAL image that makes a differnce, and for the web 72dpi is all you get.

Millions, again, it makes no difference, it's what you use to save the final graphic that matters. While we are no longer limited to the old 'web safe' 256 colors, there are still some limitations on the web.
