Good work, they look really effective, I like the way you've used different transparencies on them too show how the glows can be used.

I'll try have a look around for the Neology Filter Pack. Hopefully a google search will bring up some results. On eyecandy 4.0 there is a 'Gradient Glow' effect, although I've not really had a good play with it, so the settings could do with being altered.

Good News! I have three links for you, the first link is to download the free Eye Candy 3.1, I downloaded the plugin myself, just to have it in my downloaded files.

The second link is a forum where they are discussing the plugin and where to acquire it.

The third link is PSP User Group, if you scroll down the page there are tutorials on the Eye Candy 3.1 filters, I find this site can be very useful at times.

Indeed I am.

I'll post some examples of my work when I have the time to have a good mess around with the filter. Cheers again for the help.

Another request. This time for your views and thoughts on my revamped website. I'm in need of some suggestions for the graphic sets that I should use. My site uses uses blues and blacks so I'm hoping for the graphics to fit in with that theme.

I await your suggestions

So far the site looks real nice with the layout. Blues and blacks can work for a website, and so far the new site looks real nice.

Did you add a favicon or havn't I been that observant? Looks good!

Do you like your new layout? One can ask for opinions or suggestions, even go into the Site Review Forum and receive quite a few opinions, but you won't please everybody...

Thanks. I'll be adding the site in the review section of the site, once I have the graphics properly established. Where the header one and header two text is at the top of the page is where the banner will go. Although I've not decided what colour to make that banner. I was thinking a lighter shade of blue but I'm still not really decided on that or the style. I'd like peoples suggestions on possible banner designs.

Maybe where the 'welcome to Bo Avid' is too. I'll be adding some graphics around that table, which will be the same as the navs (which havnet been added yet), similar to this kind of thing - Example

I've had the favicon on the site for a while by the way. Favicon

When the graphics are all in place that would be the place to go for suggestions on a site review. As it stands now, looks pretty good, although the original site "Bo Avid" looks real nice too...I tend to critique web pages on a business point of view....

Must have been to engaged looking at the page to notice the favicon, normally I noticce everything...

OK I've set up the graphics (rough design of the template) set up which I would like you guys to review. I need to know how to improve on them, I know they're not perfect, but its often hard to criticise your own work which makes it hard to make improvements.

I'd like your suggestions on improvements, ideas and thoughts on the current sets. In particular the banner and the welcome table.

All suggestions and comments welcome.

OK on to my question. Could you guys help me identify how this background was created on the below graphic and what effect has been used on the text.

Another effect, I would like to know how to do is the graphic where the picture is inside the circle. I've had a few attempts at trying to get this effect but I've had no real luck.

I've finally found out how to get that cloud effect background

Its actually quite simple to do too. What I did was, create a 50x50 square with a transparent background, then one the styles tab, went to pattern and chose the cloud effect. Fill the square with that, then resize the square to whatever size you want it.

Then simply colourise it, it seems to work pretty well too.
