Thought I was in the "Image Editing Software" under Jasc Paint Shop Pro, oh well madkad...

Perhaps you misunderstood me, I thought if any individual was working on a graphic project and got stuck or a tutorial on how to, perhaps I could help. However, any correspondence activity would be kept here at WT for others to benefit by also.

Madkad, I don't work with any 3-D software programs....

Nature_Farmer, you didn't mention what version of PSP you are working with, but have supplied three links for version 7, 8 and 9.

I have purchased Coral Paint Shop Pro X... and I am very disapointed that it does not come with Animation Shop - although I am led to believe it supports animations. I have Animation Shop is v.3 that I got with Paint Shop Pro 5.5.
What I need to know/help with is the EASIEST way to get the two to work together... ie;

Incorperating Glitter Fills via Animation Shop direct into PPS-X

thks in advance

Hello Technophobic,

I haven't purchased the newest version, Coral Paint Shop Pro X, but I imagine it would work similar to PSP version 8 & 9, sounds like a real nice program, I seen where they are not including the Animation Shop and asking for an additional $40.

Open up your software (Coral Paint Shop Pro X), take a test graphic and go to:

File - Save As, a new window will open up, scroll down to Save as Type, open this up and near the top you will see Animation Shop (*.psp), pick this one. You can save this file in your Corel PSP X or a folder in your Animation Shop. It's the extension that Animation Shop is complaining about, I am also working with Animation Shop version 3.

If you have made more then one frame (graphic) in Corel PSP X, each frame will have to be saved that way. In Animation Shop the animation you made is saved as a gif, basically it should work like your PSP version 5.5

Hope this helps......

Yes, I am very interested in PSP tutorials beacuse I find the reference manual hard to follow for a novice like myself. Would be interested in your opinion of the various tutorials oif you are able to forward them to me. Thanks!

Just to tell you, PSPX is VERY similiiar to 9, so if you have 9, you should be able to guide them easily. It is mainly user interface changes with a few new features, but not so many that your tutorials woudlnt work effectively..

On that note, I also have 3 years of experience, and can help out too.

I haven't purchased the newest version of PSP10/X as of yet, but figured the software was pretty similiar to version 9. Do you like the newest version Pipers Dragon?

Why not help out, maybe one of us will have to put a tutorial up, do the tutorial and show the results, just to spark some interest.

Hi there,

I hope someone is still checking in on this thread!

I have PSP 8 and am trying to make a banner but am just getting frustrated in the process.

I have minor basic knowledge of the program ... basiclly i just use it to edit photos and resize and things like that.

If someone could be so kind to help me out with a very simply worded tut i would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

What do you want IN your banner? Each banner is different, and so you may need to give us a bit of a hint. On one note, the main theme to your banner, such as a logo, or picture, or whatever it is, should never be in the direct center. It takes away from the rest of the banner, and leaves little flexibility to expand with text and other effects.
